Technical Support Center

We average over 500 service calls per month and 99% of those are responded to within our 8 ½ hour target. Within that we have been averaging a response time of less then 6 hours. It is also important to note that within those 500 service calls more the 90% of those calls are fixed right the first time which is higher then the North American industry norm. Over the next year we will be continuing to work on cross training the team capitalizing on each others strengths.

The TSC also utilizes a remote dispatching system which allows the Technical Account Managers remote access to our system to see in real time the status of all current and outstanding service calls. This system allows each Tech to not only see service calls as soon as they are entered into are system but they are able to clear service calls as soon as they are completed, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Additionally, our Technical Account Managers carry the highest levels of certification in our industry, such as Comp TI A+ and PDI+. Our Network Analysts also have all relevant IT certifications such as A+, Network +, Server +, MCP & MCSE

Return Policy

Thanks for shopping at A.F. Smith. We want you to be thrilled with your new purchase. However, if you need to return an item, we're here to help.

For most products, simply return it with the original receipt and original packaging within 14 days of the date you receive the product. If the item is returned within this timeframe, we’ll exchange it or offer a refund based upon the original payment method. For returns for cash, cash equivalent, and check transactions over $250, A.F. Smith will mail a refund check to you or transfer money to your bank account within 10 business days.

We regret that some items are ineligible for return or refund.  These include:

  • Technology or business machines under lease
  • Labour, delivery and/or completed installation services
  • Custom-ordered products and custom-assembled furniture
  • Gift cards, digital subscriptions or services
  • Digital content (e.g., game and movie downloads)
  • Microphones, earbuds, harmonicas and other similar products
  • Consumable items such as food, drinks and batteries
  • Items that are damaged or abused
  • Items that are missing accessories such as remote controls, cords and cables
  • Etched or otherwise personalized items
  • Opened computer software
  • Apple Warranty Plans
